This book cover was designed based on an coming of age story line. I decided on a flower because flowers evolve just as Ever from the book. She was shy and introverted since her parents wouldn’t let her do anything but study which is why the flower is closed on the front cover. Later on in the story she started doing things she wasn’t able to do with her parents around, which is why the flower is opened and fully bloomed on the back cover. The spin is composed of both stems from the closed to fully bloomed flower.
