I went to the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA). This was the closest place to me especially since I have no vehicle and it had to be off campus. This means that I was unable to communicate with the artist since it was a museum, but I still had an amazing experience. It’s nice to see other peoples artwork besides our classmates and online. I think its important to go out once in a while and see what is new/what people are focusing their artwork on and what is popular and getting people’s attention. This exhibition was based on irony and how the world isn’t what we all wish it could be, especially with everything going on in the world. I think next time it would be nice to go somewhere I can actually speak to someone to get a little more insight then just whats attached to the artwork.
